Betsy Ross & Uncle Sam

Koalas: We had a great fourth of July week; we made some festive arts and crafts such as our red, white, and blue lanterns. Koalas are also working on our teamwork by playing fun trivia games!

Cubs: . The cubs are having a super fun summer! We are drawing, painting and creating wonderful projects. We decorate our classroom  with butterflies, flowers and rainbows.

Bobcats: In camp Bobcats, we have been artsy! Last week we made caterpillars out of colorful pom-poms; sitting on a leaf. We also made beaded bracelets or necklaces. We can’t forget about our festive 4th  of July stars. We have so many more fun crafts in store that we can’t wait to show our families.

Lions: Lions are splashing their way into the fourth week of summer camp at the Caporella Aquatic Center. Since the 4th of July was this week, we celebrated the Independence of America by playing fun American trivia games to earn cool prizes.

Tigers: The week was short but fun; camp Tigers had a wacky week , we created some psychedelic tye dyed shirts at the beginning of the week, dressed up in our wackiest outfit on Tuesday and we finished up the week at rebounderz, and showed off our really cool tye-dye shirts.

Panthers: This week the Panthers were introduced to cup stacking. Cup stacking involves 9 or 12 specially designed cups in a predetermined sequence. Campers competed against the clock or another player to determine how fast they can "stack the cup". We are planning a cup stacking tournament in the future!

The weather wasn’t great this week, but that didn’t stop us from having fun on Monday. We played an indoor game of Family Feud and Jeopardy, where we tested our knowledge. On Tuesday we celebrated the 4th of July  with an arts and crafts and created a cool red, white and blue mask.

Cobras: This week the Cobras had an amazing week playing more creative games in the gym and on the field. The cobras played steal the bacon, ultimate Frisbee and their favorite of the week was the game tank! And when it rained will still had a blast playing tennis bowling in the hallway and a funny game of charades in the classroom. We did more arts and crafts making US flags for 4 of July and lanyard coloring of their choosing

Honeybadgers: This week we played Swamp Ball (teamwork), Kids from Mars (endurance), and Race to 100 (social interaction) to highlight our group’s focus areas. Parents, we look forward to providing your children with many more exciting opportunities to engage in various active activities next week.
