Woodmont Club House Rendering

Woodmont Redevelopment Underway

The Woodmont redevelopment project has begun and it will have a direct impact on our entire community. It entails the construction of 152 new homes by Pulte, a national builder. These houses range in size from 2,400 to 2,900 square feet and include one and two story models priced from $400,000 to $500,000.  All new residents will be required to join the country club as social members for $2,400 per year.

The project also consists of the refurbishment of nine holes on the Pines course and the construction of a new 15,000 square-foot country club.

To ensure this project is brought to fruition the development agreement contains the following safeguards:
  • 100% of the costs to refurbish the nine holes on the Pines course will be placed in an escrow account only to be used for the golf course. An additional $250,000 will be placed in this account that will not be released until project completion.
  • 100% of the cost of building the new clubhouse will be placed in a separate escrow account by Pulte only to be used for this building's completion.
New signs and buffer walls will be installed as part of the redevelopment. Our community will once again be the premier community it was.

Have you been scammed? Who you going to call?
Seniors vs. Crime!

What is the Seniors vs. Crime project and what does it do? Its primary goal is to reduce the incidence of seniors being victimized.

Seniors vs. Crime is sponsored by the Florida Attorney General’s office and provides educational and crime prevention programs, investigates complaints and seeks restitution when viable. This free service also assists residents involved in civil disputes with contractors or a business who has taken advantage of or defrauded seniors.

Seniors are often the prime target for scams. If you need help, please contact Tamarac BSO's Seniors vs. Crime satellite office at (954) 597-3959 to schedule an appointment. They are available Monday and Friday from 1 to 3 pm.
