1:30 – 3:30 pm
Tamarac Park

Calling all Pokémon Go Fans! We’re looking for Tamarac’s best  trainers to get out in our parks and catch all the Pokémons out there! Whoever visits the most Poké Stops and gyms within any of our parks and facilities will receive an amazing prize pack! We will be posting clues as to where to find some of them. All you have to do to win is screenshot a view of your avatar in the park. Next, take a screenshot eof ach Poké Stop you visit -  image must show that you are in range of the Poké Stop. Then tag us on Facebook or Twitter and use the hashtag #TamaracPokePark.

Our Parks are open from 7:30 am to dusk with some, such as the Tamarac Sports Complex, Caporella Aquatic Center and Tamarac Park, open later. Our facilities will be open regular business hours. Reminder: Park rules are still in effect, no exceptions (not even to catch a Venusaur!). Make sure to be aware of yourself and your surroundings at all times. Have Fun!

Contest dates extended through October 3, 2016

Pokémon and Pokémon Go are trademarked by The Pokémon Company. The City of Tamarac is not affiliated with Pokémon in any way.

Urinetown The musical - Thursday, October 14th
$50/Residents, $60/Non-residents
Bus leaves at 4 pm, returns at 10 pm

A surprise winner of three Tony Awards this hilarious musical written by Mark Hollmann and Greg Kotis is a satire of the legal system and a love letter to musical theatre itself! Urinetown provides a fresh perspective of one of America’s greatest art forms. In a Gotham like city, a terrible water shortage, caused by a 20-year drought has led to a ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity’s most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero decides he’s had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom…hilariously funny!
