The pandemic requires us all to make changes to our daily routines and has created financial hardships for some. Even though we are social distancing, there are resources available that will help our community get through this challenging time, together.
Those experiencing food insecurity can contact Tamarac’s Social Services division at (954) 597-3620 for information and referrals, or reach out to the following organizations:
The following food pantries are offering food on a first-come, first-served basis:
- St. Malachy Catholic Church (Tamarac residents only): 6200 N. University Dr., Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 - 11 am
- Korean United Methodist Church (6501 W. Commercial Blvd.), Saturdays, 9 -11 am
- Calvary Chapel (2401 W. Cypress Creek Rd.), Saturdays, 3 -5 pm
