SANTA TO ARRIVE BY BOAT TO TAMARAC'S ANNUAL HOLIDAY LIGHTING

Christmas tree with lights, menorah and kinaraTAMARAC, Fla. (November 28, 2023) – The City of Tamarac invites the community to usher in the holiday season at the annual Holiday Lighting on Thursday, Nov.30., at Caporella Park, 5200 Prospect Road.

Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m., with special holiday performances by Tamarac Elementary School’s dance club and chorus. The City of Tamarac’s Mayor and Commissioners will then light the Christmas tree, Hanukkah menorah and Kwanzaa kinara.

With a sprinkle of Tamarac holiday magic, Santa will swap his sleigh for a boat to make a grand entrance into Caporella Park. After Santa’s arrival, families can enjoy photo opportunities with Santa, delectable treats from onsite food vendors and holiday-themed arts and crafts. The evening will conclude with festive seasonal music by the Jackson Bunn Duo.

Admission to Tamarac’s 2023 Holiday Lighting is free and open to the public. Event parking is limited. The City will provide a free continuous complimentary shuttle to Caporella Park from Christian Life Center, which is located at 4905 Prospect Road.
