TAMARAC, Fla. (June 26, 2023) – The City of Tamarac invites the community to celebrate Independence Day all day and night at two festive events. On Tuesday, July 4, guests can spend the afternoon poolside, then enjoy an evening of live entertainment, family activities and fireworks.

Families, friends and neighbors are invited to take a dip at Tamarac’s Patriotic Splash Swim Party, from noon to 4 p.m., at Caporella Aquatic Complex, 9300 NW 58th St. Guests can spend a fun-filled day at the pool with kids’ arts & crafts, games and music. Admission is $5. Following the poolside celebration, guests can showcase their patriotic pride at the annual All-American Celebration. Held at the Tamarac Sports Complex, 9901 NW 77th St., entertainment includes an outdoor concert, featuring the Original Studio 54 Band, food trucks and family-friendly fun. The evening will close with an incredible fireworks display under the stars.

For the safety of all guests, prohibited items upon entry include personal fireworks, sparklers, tents, large bags, grills, alcohol, glass bottles and pets.

Event parking is limited. A free shuttle service will transport attendees to the All-American Celebration from Tamarac City Hall, 7525 NW 88th Ave. and Tamarac Community Center, 8601 W. Commercial Blvd. until the fireworks begin. Shuttle service will resume following the fireworks show.

In observance of Independence Day, the City of Tamarac will be closed for business on Tuesday, July 4.
