[ARCHIVED] Tropical Storm Eta

Weather alert

The City is carefully monitoring Tropical Storm Eta. Canals have been lowered in anticipation of heavy rains and Tamarac is well prepared to mitigate impacts from the storm.

As of Saturday, November 7, Tamarac is under a tropical storm warning while coastal Broward (east of I-95) is under a hurricane watch. Secure loose items in your yard and patio and prepare for heavy rain and tropical-storm-force winds starting as early as Sunday afternoon. You can visit  www.weather.gov/miami for the latest information.

Due to the storm, tomorrow's Farmers Market is canceled and parks will close at 4 pm.
