The City of Tamarac’s Housing division is accepting applications for three assistance programs for residents experiencing financial hardships due to the pandemic.

  • The fourth round of the Residential Assistance Program will assist qualified Tamarac residents with rent, mortgage, re-housing and utility bills due to COVID-19. It will remain open until funds are expended.
  • The Emergency Repair Grant Program offers emergency repair assistance to homeowners experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19. Funds can be used for emergency repairs to the roof or any other component that an inspector deems necessary. Projects are reviewed and awarded on a case-by-case basis.
  • The Connectivity and Technology for Employment Support Program, offered in partnership with T-Mobile, offers two years of connectivity technology to residents impacted by COVID-19. This program  supports job and employment searches
