Hurricane season is June 1st through November 30th. Keep safe with early planning and preparation. Every resident and business should create a hurricane preparedness plan and share it with family members and employees.

Tropical Storm Ian Update

According to the National Hurricane Center, Tropical Storm Ian is now headed westward, away from South Florida. The city of Tamarac continues to monitor the strength and direction of the storm in order to take appropriate measures to prepare for any changes or unexpected impact such as strong wind and heavy rain. As we keep watch, Tamarac’s Emergency Management Division encourages all households and businesses to remain storm ready.

 

Hours of Operation

Please note that Tamarac City Hall, along with all City parks and facilities, will be open and operating under normal business hours on Monday, September 26, 2022. 


Public Meetings

Currently, all public meetings will take place as scheduled. 


Sanitation

No changes to Tamarac’s sanitation collection schedule are planed.
