Residential Assistance Program V2


Applications are being processed on a First Come, First Ready, First Served basis


The purpose of this program is to provide emergency assistance to families impacted by COVID-19. Forms of assistance include mortgage, rent, and utility payments. Applicants must have verifiable and documented income hardship. The eligible housing units must be located within the City of Tamarac.  

  • The applicants will be processed on a First Come, First Ready, First Served basis
  • Incomplete applications will not be considered 
  • Assistance will be provided for up to 3 months and will not exceed $5,000
  • Checks are sent directly to Landlord, Mortgage Lender and/or Utility Provider 
  • Funds are awarded as a grant.
