Tamarac Community Farmers Market

The market is a great place to shop for fresh produce, tea, honey, sauces, baked goods, hummus, pickles, and other artisanal goodies. Come meet the producers and sample their locally prepared, all natural products.

When: Every Sunday, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Join Chef Katz and EarthSave for a FREE ’TryVegan’ Community Dinner & Presentation. Enjoy guest speakers, give-a-ways, entertainment, and a delicious-nutritious dinner. RSVP for assured meal to Chef Brook Katz by email. All ages welcome.

Tamarac Celebrates Black History Month

A month of celebration, discussion, culture, and music.  Join us to celebrate Black History Month with the following activities:

  • February 7th, 6:30 pm at Tamarac Sports Complex - Movie in the Park featuring Marvel’s Black Panther - (Rescheduled to June 5th due to weather)
  • February 8th, 10 am at Tamarac Community Center - Teen Summit featuring special guest speakers
  • February 12th, 6 pm at Tamarac City Hall - City Commission Meeting Reception featuring children’s art display and honoring individuals who impact our community
  • February 13th, 1pm at Tamarac Community Center - Senior Dance Motown Party - "Stop in the Name of Love"
  • February 20th, Adult Trip to Karibu - African American Heritage Exhibit at the Palm Beach Design Showroom
  • February 22nd, 4pm at Tamarac Sports Complex - ONE Tamarac: Multicultural Festival featuring Sugar Hill Gang

Teen Summit

The 2020 Teen Summit "Choices and Consequences" will include discussions on human trafficking, vaping, suicide amongst teens, surviving peer pressure and more. Cost is $5.00 and includes breakfast and lunch. Summit is for teens ages 12 to 17 years old.

When: Saturday, February 8th, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Where: Tamarac Community Center, 8601 W. Commercial Blvd.


Movies in the Park

Free big screen movie in the park. Enjoy pre-movie activities: face painting, games, bounce house, music, and food from onsite food trucks. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs. Free bag of popcorn.

Pre-movie activities start at 6:30 pm, Movie starts at sundown.

ONE TAMARAC: Multicultural Festival

A free festival celebrating the many faces and many voices which make up our community.  Featuring "The Sugar Hill Gang",  "The Latin Ensemble", a variety of cultural performances, cultural exhibition area, children’s fun zone, food vendors, and fireworks.

Join us for an exciting bike ride through the City of Tamarac. features a helmet fitting, safety tips and a bike rodeo. Bring your bicycle and wear your helmet.
