Seeking surveying or engineering firms with experience in all phases of professional surveying as described in Florida Statutes, Chapter 472 entitled "Land Surveying and Mapping" and with surveyors licensed in the State of Florida on their staff to provide miscellaneous surveying and mapping services. Such services may include boundary surveys, plat surveys, easement surveys, topographic surveys, as-built surveys, and preparation of legal descriptions and sketches. Status: Pending in review by Broward County. The anticipated issuance is 4th Quarter of 2022.

The City of Tamarac is hereby requesting proposals from qualified consultants to provide the City with a Multi-Modal Transportation Connectivity Master Plan. Status: A solicitation is currently being solicited and proposal is due on November 29, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. EST.
Fire Station No. 15 Pre-Emption Emergency Vehicle Signal System Project. Broward County Mobility Enhancement Project #TAMA-014. Solicitation 21-19B.
The City of Tamarac is hereby requesting Bids, from Qualified Contractors, for the construction of the City of Tamarac, Fire Station No. 15 Pre-Emption Emergency Vehicle Signal System Project. The project consists of constructing a complete Pre-Emption Emergency Vehicle Signal System for the City of Tamarac’s Fire Station No. 15, located at 6000 Hiatus Road, Tamarac, Florida, 33321. The work shall include, but not limited to, verification of existing utilities and drainage facilities, clearing and grubbing, concrete removal, concrete curbing, concrete sidewalk and driveway restoration, the construction of substructures that will support mast arms, complete mast arm and signal systems, installation of new pavement markings and signage, trenching, directional boring, electrical conduit and component installation - both to the interior and exterior of the fire station, earthwork, landscaping and sod restoration. The Contractor must perform these services in the City of Tamarac, Florida in accordance with applicable, Federal, State and local regulations and in accordance with the project design plans, as prepared by McMahon Associates, Inc. The work includes all labor, materials, equipment, engineering and obtaining all applicable permits, licenses, insurance, and supervision necessary to complete the project as specified herein. All proposed improvements shall be completed in accordance with the project bid documents, design plans, details, technical specifications / scope of work and all applicable federal, state, county, and local regulatory requirements. Status: A solicitation is being drafted. It requires review by Broward County prior to issuance. It is anticipated to be issued the 4th Quarter of 2022.
University Drive Median Landscaping Improvement Project. Solicitation 23-10B
Project will entail the construction of landscaping improvements on the University Drive medians, generally located between Southgate Boulevard and NW 78th Street, Tamarac, Florida. The work shall include, but not be limited to, clearing and grubbing, removal of existing pavers, removal of existing irrigation systems, installation of tree protection barriers, root and branch pruning, installation of landscaping improvements, installation of brick pavers and irrigation system improvements. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete this project, as indicated in the Special Conditions, Special Provisions, Project Design Plans and Technical Specifications, and Bid No. 23-10B Documents herein. The work shall include all labor, material, tools, and equipment necessary to complete this project as indicated in the Special Conditions, Special Provisions, Technical Specifications, and Bid No. 23-10B Documents herein, along with all engineering, shop drawing and other documentation necessary to obtain all applicable permits and all bonds, securities, licenses and insurance necessary to complete the project as specified herein and within the Project Design Plans. All proposed improvements shall be completed in accordance with the project bid documents, design plans, details technical specifications / scope of work and all applicable federal, state, county, and local regulatory requirements. Status: Solicitation currently being developed and scheduled for issuance in early to mid-November 2022.
Nob Hill Culvert Gate.
Project will entail installation of a gate at culvert just west of Nob Hill Road at canal 2B to control water elevation in city canal system. Status: It is anticipated to be issued 4th Quarter of 2022.
C-14 Canal Erosion Improvement Project - Solicitation 22-21B
This project consists of culvert bulkhead improvements at four (4) separate locations, as identified in the project design plans, the above Description of Work and the below Bid Schedules. It is the intent of the City to award this bid based on the Total Base Bid for all bid items; however, the City reserves the right to award this bid by low total per location or by low total per groups of locations, whichever is in the best interest of the City at the following 4 locations:

General Contractors & Roofers for The City of Tamarac Owner Occupied Minor Home Repair Program – 23-03R
The City of Tamarac is actively seeking responses from qualified Proposers to provide General Contractor Services and Roofing Services for the Owner Occupied Minor Home Repair Program administered by the City of Tamarac Housing Division in full accordance with the scope of services, terms, and conditions contained in this Request for Qualifications (RFQ).
It is the City’s intent to establish a pool of qualified and experienced general contractors and roofers to complete various types of repairs to residential homes. This solicitation will replace the existing pool of contractors. The established list of pre-qualified contractors will be eligible to bid primarily on residential property rehabilitation work identified by the City’s Community Development, Housing Division.
Any vendor, including vendors currently under contract with the City, who wishes to be part of the new pool of contractors, must submit a response to this solicitation for furnishing the services.
The Contractor must perform these services in the City of Tamarac, Florida in accordance with applicable regulations contained in Title 2 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 200, as well as regulations promulgated by Federal Agencies including OMB, FEMA and FHWA, as well as Florida State Agencies FDOT, FDH, NRCS, SFWMD, and FDEP in conjunction with the City’s needs. Contracts issued resulting from this RFP shall only be activated in the event of a declared emergency. There is no guarantee any contract resulting from the RFP will be activated or any work will be performed.
