Clear Communication

The City of Tamarac will increase communication within the organization and throughout the City. We will increase both awareness of and participation in city government.

 Background:
We know that the best way to determine the needs of our citizens and employees is to ask them. Opening the lines of communication continues to be a priority in the City of Tamarac. We are dedicated to continuing to effectively collect and respond to customer feedback. As the community continues to change, we are committed to implementing new programs and building new facilities that reflect the needs and wants of all citizens. This means operating in an environment where employees have the information they need readily available, and where interdepartmental communication, empowerment, and two-way communication are a priority. This proactive approach includes customer and employee surveys, comment cards, citizen and employee focus groups, community meetings and outreach. Tamarac is committed to continuing to provide those services that are most valued, and keeping the community abreast of the programs and services we offer.
