The City of Tamarac is committed to providing programs and services that meet the needs of an increasingly diverse community.

Background:
The City of Tamarac is experiencing the most dynamic period in its 44-year history. As the Baby Boomer generation ages, the average age of Americans is increasing; however, in Tamarac the average resident is getting younger. If this trend continues, by the year 2012 the average Tamarac resident will be in his or her early forties.

Like the communities surrounding us, Tamarac is also becoming more diverse. The schools in our area have seen significant changes as the number of nationalities, religions, and cultures have continued to grow. As the face of Tamarac continues to change, we will actively seek to understand the needs of this dynamic population, and provide programs and services to meet these needs.
