Home Rehabilitation Assistance Program Application

The purpose of the City's Housing Assistance Programs is to meet the housing needs of the extremely low, very low, low and moderate income households, to expand production of and preserve affordable housing to the current and future residents of the City of Tamarac.

The programs are designed to assist current homeowners in Tamarac with needed repairs to maintain the structural integrity of their house and for those who desire to become homeowners within Tamarac. The programs are funded by the State of Florida through the State Housing Initiative Program (SHIP) and by the Federal Housing and Urban Development Department through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investments Partnership (HOME) programs.

Application cycles are announced as funding becomes available and are processed on a first come first serve basis.
