Landscape Division
| To maintain and enhance landscaping in public rights-of-way and medians owned by the City of Tamarac. |
| The Landscaping Division is responsible for preserving and maintaining the aesthetic quality of medians, trees, and irrigation systems. Additional responsibilities include mowing, trimming, and litter control. This Division is constantly exploring new and creative ways to enhance the beautification of public areas utilizing environmentally sound, pleasing, and safety-conscious designs. These services are provided by working in collaboration with other City Departments, governmental agencies, and various private contractors and vendors. |

In support of Goal #5, A Vibrant Community, the Landscape Division will ensure the roadways medians and public rights-of-way properly maintained, and ensuring proper installation and maintenance of landscaping material. In support of Goal #2, Strong Economy in a Healthy Environment, the Division will ensure the City's irrigation systems are functioning properly.
