Supported Employment Coach Pre- Service training will provide an understanding of:· connection between Supported Employment and having a full life·give a basic understanding of the way Supported Employment is managed and funded in Florida explain the reasons why work is so vital for persons with developmental disabilities. Social Security Work Incentives will focus on enhancing the individual's earnings by allowing them to make more money and still maintain eligibility to SSDI, SSI, Medicare and Medicaid.

Dates: September 8^th and 9^th/September 20^th and 21^st

Time: 9 AM – 4 PM

We are no longer accepting phone registrations. For registering to attend training in Area 10 you must send an email to: d10_apd_customerservice@apd.state.fl.us Please see the Training Calendar for more information. Both of these trainings will meet the requirements of the 18 hours of Pre-service training requirements for all providers providing Supported Employment. SENIORS IN MOTION

Broward County Transit will be offering a program called "Seniors in Motion" on Tuesday, September 14, 2010, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Thursday, September 23, 2010, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Broward County Transit will have a table in the lobby of the Community Center and will give out information on how to travel on the BCT buses and will also offer information on the Tamarac Transit system.
