TAMARAC @ TWILIGHT CONCERT SERIES

  

The live Tamarac @ Twilight Concert Series features exciting concerts showcasing bands and solo artists from all over the State of Florida. Grab your family members, lawn chairs, and friends, and enjoy an evening dancing under the stars. Each concert is free to the public and takes place at the Tamarac Sports Complex, 9901 NW 77 Street, Tamarac, from 7-9 p.m. For more information, please call Parks and Recreat at 954-597-3620.

  • Friday, March 12th - CANCELLED -  This concert, featuring Shadow Creek has been cancelled due to inclement weather. Please check back for rescheduling information.
  • Friday, April 30th (Rescheduled from Friday, February 12th due to inclement weather) - The Now and Then Band - Group performs the greatest dance songs from the 40's to today's hottest hits.

PETER COTTONTAIL'S WET & WILD EGG HUNT - SATURDAY, MARCH 27TH

  

Peter Cottontail's Wet & Wild Egg Hunt is an egg hunt for children ages 2-5, held on our kiddie Sprayground at the Caporella Aquatic Center.  Hundreds of eggs will be flowing through the sprayground making for a wet and wild time! After all the eggs are collected, children can visit the prize table to see what goodies they've won, enjoy playing games for prizes, and even have the chance to meet Peter Cottontail. Parents, please bring your camera, a basket for collecting eggs, and be sure to wear swimsuits as everyone must be in swim attire to enter the Sprayground. The event will be held on Saturday, March 27th, 9:30-11:00 a.m. Fee is $4 per child; non-residents are $5. Pre-registration is required by March 24th. SPRINGFEST 2010 - SATURDAY, APRIL 3RD

  

Children ages 10 and under are invited to this annual event which features face painting, bounce houses, games, and an egg hunt for ages 10 & under. Find the Golden Egg and win a prize. Be on time so you don't miss the action. The egg hunt starts promptly at 10:00 a.m. The fun happens at the Tamarac Sports Complex, 9901 N.W. 77th Street, Tamarac (corner of Nob Hill Road and 77th Street). Event runs from 10:00 a.m. to Noon.

 
 
 

COMMUNITY CENTER ART EXHIBITIONS
Visit the Monthly Art Exhibits at the Community Center

Visit the Lobby of the Tamarac Community Center to view the Artist-of-the-Month exhibit.  Attention artists, if you are interested in displaying your artwork, applications are available at the Tamarac Community Center.  For more information, please call 954-597-3620.
