The Tamarac Fire Rescue CERT program recently adopted the Zone method of identifying assigned areas, the city will have five color coded areas or zones. A legend and map is attached for you to see the zones and their respective colors.
Members residing in these zones will report to or be contacted by their Zone Leader in the event of an activation, training or general meeting. Each Zone members will also be made aware of what their roles will be. An SOP or standard operating procedure will be attached for the area zones shortly.
The Zone concept is in the early stages but in time will ease any question as to where to meet and what your roles will be during any event that may take place. Members will have a point of contact and a way to communicate in their zones.

E-Mail to Vans@Tamarac.org .
We will place each member on the updated Zone list and provide an updated list to your Zone Leader for tracking.
