Paying on your account |
To pay on your account in person, please visit Satellite City Hall during the hours of operation. The City accepts cash or checks at this location. In addition we have a payment slot located on the right side of the door. |
Opening and Closing Account |
To open a new account, the owner or tenant of the property must complete the
New Service Request Form present a copy of the signed settlement (HUD) Statement or warrenty deed, the tenant must present a signed lease, a photo id (driver's license is acceptable) and place a security deposit. The deposit amount is determined by the size of the meter.
To close account please complete and submit the Final Bill and Refund Request Form to the City of Tamarac Customer Service Department at least 24 hours prior to the disconnection date. |
When to pay your bill |
All utility bills are due when rendered. Any balance not paid within 25 days will be assessed a 10% late fee. If payment is not received within 45 days, service will be discontinued. To restore service after a discontinuation, full payment including delinquent charges and possible additional deposit muse be made, in person a this location. |

The City of Tamarac allows the user to view utility account and make payment on-line. With the new online payment program, residents currently have the convenience of two online payment options, Immediate Payment and On-Demand Payment. To participate all you need is a COMPUTER, water bill account number, and the assigned temporary personal identification number (PIN) which you would need to contact us to obtain that information. |
Pay your Utility Bill Automatically |
With the Tamarac Automatic Payment Plan (TAPP) the monthly charges on your bill will be deducted directly from your checking account. Everything is done for you automatically and safely plus you save time and money. You will continue to receive your monthly utility bill in the mail each month that states "DO NOT PAY".
STEP 1: Complete and sign the TAPP Application Form.
STEP 2: Attach a check write the word (VOID) across the front of a blank check or savings deposit slip corresponding to the checking or savings account you would like debited each month.

All address changes must be submitted in writing , complete the Change of Address Form and
mail to: Satellite City Hall, 4267 W. Commercial Blvd.; Tamarac, FL 33319 or Fax it to (954) 484-8521.
