Residents, property owners, and staff hear consultants summary for streetscape design on NW 57th Street. corridor.

NW 57th Street Design Guidelines

The City of Tamarac City Commission and Community Development Department would like to thank all of those who participated in the NW 57th Street Design Guidelines charrette process. On July 14th the City held its final public meeting in which RMPK Group, consultant for the project, summarized findings to the public. Significant input from property owners and citizens will allow the City to adopt a usable Streetscape Design Guidelines document for NW 57th Street .

RMPK Groups findings indicated property owners and citizens would like to see on street, angled parking with a mixture of concrete and brick sidewalks. In addition, a consistent landscape theme within existing medians, defined crosswalks at all intersections and opportunities for public art.

A combination of brick & concrete sidewalks, with crosswalks throughout the NW 57th Street are just a couple of themes residents and property owners wanted.
