VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT

The Community Development Department is made up of three different but cohesive divisions, consisting of Housing, Occupational Licensing, and Planning and Zoning. Each of these divisions come together to make every effort in maintaining a higher quality of life for those living, working and visiting Tamarac.

The City of Tamarac has experienced a significant shift in demographics, which is reshaping the citys image and approach to development. The city is continually growing younger by the year. Since 1990 the average age in Tamarac has dropped over 10 years.
Within the past several years, Tamarac has evolved into a growing community that welcomes development in all areas to improve its economic vitality. Tamaracs friendly environment makes it a prime location for relocating or opening a business and commercial and residential development. |
