Public Information Office

The City of Tamarac's Public Information Office (PIO) is responsible for disseminating information to the community and media, as well as the City's approximately 360 employees.

Through various publications, including the City's popular quarterly newsletter, the Tam-A-Gram, the PIO's goal is to provide the community with clear, useful, and engaging information.

In addition to the Tam-A-Gram, the PIO produces the City's the annual Water Quality Report, Tam-A-Gram Extras, and other informational pieces as needed including brochures, pamphlets, and event flyers.

The PIO is also the City's main point of contact for media relations - responding to media inquiries is just part of that. In addition, the PIO communicates with the media regularly to promote Tamarac and its programs. Be sure to check out our Press Releases for the latest news.

Another aspect of the PIO's function is to facilitate internal communication through the City's internal employee newsletter, the Tamarac Sundial - a publication that has been continually published since 1978!
