Tamarac Transportation |

A bus fare of $ .50 per trip will be collected every time you board, including when transferring from one route to another. Riders making the connection with Broward County Transit are expected to pay the appropriate fares. Drivers are permitted to collect exact change fares only. No pennies, please. Drivers can not make change, issue transfers, or accept Broward County Transit passes.
Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Buses operate as close to schedule as possible, although traffic conditions may cause the bus to arrive slightly early or late. Please allow yourself enough time when traveling. There is no service when under a hurricane warning.
Holiday Schedule
There is no service on Saturday, Sunday, or the following holidays observed by the City of Tamarac: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
The Tamarac Transit Community Bus Service provides connections to BCT Routes 2, 11, 18, 31, 55, 57, 62 and 88 (get BCT information by clicking the link at the top of this page), and the City of Lauderhill Route 4 community bus.

Tamarac Paratransit Update! |

Tamarac Paratransit offers transportation to physically challenged residents, seniors 60 years of age and older, and City residents who are unable to use the City of Tamarac Transit System. Offering a full range of transportation services, Tamarac Paratransit provides access to medical appointments, grocery shopping, pharmacies and the Tamarac Community Center.
Effective October 1, 2010, there will be a few modifications to the Paratransit service which include:

Office hours to make appointments will be 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The last available appointment slot will be 2:00 p.m.

New! - There will be a Tamarac Community Center Shuttle with a morning pick up between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. and a choice of return trip of either 12:30 p.m. or 3 p.m. Grocery shopping trips to Publix will be offered to residents on all days except when it falls on a holiday.

GOOD NEWS! The Paratransit membership fee will remain the same; $30 for 3 months, $40 for 6 months or $60 for one year of unlimited rides.
